I always leave her office very pleased and look forward to my appointments. As a child I dreaded going to the dentist, but she changed that feeling for me. Unfortunately my insurance has changed so she is out of network for me now, but I wouldn’t use anyone else but her for any invasive procedures/cosmetics even if it means paying out of pocket. "My Root Canal Experience: From Fear to Pleasant" I am Antonio Valencia, of Queens New York. My wife and I have been very satisfied and secure dental patients of Dr. Maria Marcial, for many years. But this week was the first time I had to have a Root Canal done by Dr. Marcial. I must admit I felt nervous at first. Hearing numerous "scary" experiences of root canal from others did not help at all. But Dr. Marcial was very calming, patient,reassuring during the procedure. Walking me through the process, explaining what she was doing the whole time. Making sure I was at ease. All the while i could sense her skill and preciseness. The amazing thing was after the anesthesia was placed on me, the procedure became more and more, PLEASANT! The Procedure was over and the "Fear" I first felt turned to "Pleasantness". I'm a Grateful Patient. I really would like more people to experience the expertise, warmth and care of Dr. Maria Marcial. She "takes away" the fear and anxiety of having dental work done on us.
